The patented CiBug insect trap has been specifically developed to exploit the natural behaviour of bed bugs. The core of the principle is deception: The creatures are naturally attracted to the material of the trap – harmless cardboard. They enter the trap unsuspectingly.
Inside, there is a cleverly tensioned special paper, smooth on one side and rough on the other. It is slightly arched and inserted into the trap’s interior, so that when the bug steps on it, it moves without the bug sensing any resistance. The tension releases, the paper snaps back to its original form in an instant – sealing the trap’s entrance.
The special feature: Inside, the floor remains made of rough cardboard. The bug does not feel trapped, as it can move freely due to the texture of the surface. It stays calm, sending no warning signals that would deter its fellow bugs. This is precisely what makes CiBug so effective.
CiBug is ready to use immediately and can be set up within seconds – no tools or prior knowledge required. Thanks to its discreet design, the trap can be placed almost invisibly under the bed frame or near the sleeping area.
On the underside of the trap, there are two strong adhesive pads. Simply remove the protective film.
Stick the trap with the adhesive side towards the bed edge under the bed or in the sleeping area.
The trap should be replaced every 3 months to ensure full operational reliability.
